Welcome to the GGN Newsletter

Our first issue: the 6th Annual Global Grief Conference in April 2027, our new website, and what is new across the Global Grief Network.

Welcome

Thank you for being here. This is the very first GGN Newsletter, and I am so glad you are reading it.

The Global Grief Network was built on a simple belief: nobody should have to carry grief alone. This newsletter is one more way for us to stay connected. Each issue will share what is coming next, who we will be hearing from, and the new ways you can find support and give support across the network.

The 6th Annual Global Grief Conference, April 2027

Our 6th Annual Global Grief Conference is being planned for April 2027. It will bring our community together once again around grief, healing, and human connection.

Speaker announcements, featured sessions, registration information, and key dates will be shared right here in the newsletter as they are confirmed. Organizations and individuals who would like to sponsor or partner on the conference can help shape this year’s program.

Our new website

The Global Grief Network now has a home at thglobalgriefnetwork.com. It brings everything together in one place: support, practitioners, education, media, the Memory Wall, and ways to get involved.

What is new across the network

GGN Education Center: our full program catalog is now online, along with a complete price list, so you can see every program in one place.

Grief First Aid: practical skills for showing up for someone in the early moments of loss. It is a great fit for families, workplaces, schools, hospices, and community groups.

Partners and Sponsors: a new page for organizations and people who want to walk alongside GGN, support a program, or help with the conference.

Practitioner Books: a new section where you can find books written by GGN practitioners.

Practitioner Directory: find Grief Practitioners and Doulas across specialties, regions, languages, and approaches.

Grief Talk Magazine: real stories, real healing, real people. Grief, trauma, healing, relationships, food, education, and practitioner voices.

Broadcasting and Streaming: watch and listen to live conversations, replays, podcasts, and community programming, and a creator studio for practitioners, podcasters, educators, and advocates.

The GGN App and Memory Wall: the GGN App brings together grief chatrooms, practitioner discovery, guided resources, and Jake. The Memory Wall is a place for names, stories, candles, and tributes to the people we love.
